Occupational Therapy Family Services was found in 2019 by Nicole Boyington and April Doebert-Fischer. Both are Occupational Therapists with over 26 years of combined experience in evaluation, treatment planning and teaching. Occupational Therapy Family Services was developed to address the psychosocial (social skills, life skills, anxiety and mindfulness) needs of children in a holistic view with family participation.
As Occupational Therapists, we strive to assist with increasing an individuals purpose and to assist them with finding meaning in their everyday activities. We understand that a diagnosis can affect an individual in many ways including, psychosocially, physically, culturally, emotionally and spiritually.
Occupational Therapy Family Services will work with families to develop an individual treatment plan and find the best treatment plan of individual and group sessions to meet the needs of the child and family. We will work collaboratively with your family to develop outcomes that build on your child’s natural strengths and interests. We will provide family education to promote carryover at home.
